Betty Skeen – holds a BA in dance from Sweet Briar College and an MFA in choreography from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her choreography has received two MetroDC Dance Awards and has been selected for performance at the American College Dance Festival gala. She was recently invited back to Sweet Briar College as Visiting Assistant Professor. She is a performer and collaborator with PearsonWidrig Dance Theater and Haven Movement Company.
Betty teaches Haven Movement’s company dance classes on rotation with Sarah Renny. Company classes are held on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 at Safe Harbors Lobby at the Ritz Theater in Newburgh, NY. Check our Facebook page for the current schedule.
